Charles Spurgeon was once asked, “What makes your church so successful?" His response was, “It starts in the furnace.” It was in the furnace room, in the basement where a group of people sat praying for the church service and the pastor. For a church to grow, to stay spiritually healthy, and to see men and women grow in the Lord, it starts with prayer. Prayer is the ingredient that God desires to use to impact His Kingdom and we want to be a church built on prayer.
We offer several areas on our Prayer Team for anyone to join. They include:
Pre-Service Prayer – A team of men and women gather together before the service at 8:30 AM in the Cafe to pray for our pastor, the message, and for the community.
Prayer Counselors – An opportunity to pray with people who gave their hearts to the Lord at the end of the service.
Hospital Ministry – The opportunity to go and visit with people at the hospital and pray with them. (Training required.)
M & M (Missions and Military) – Praying for our mission’s teams and military church members.
